Finovar

Finovar was born the son of a warrior in Ros Caire during the war between Baile na Durlas dan Tadg and Theor na Ros Caire. Shortly after his birth, his parent were killed during a major battle defending their home from tribesmen in the service of the Tadg.

Miraculously surviving the attack, Finovar wandered off, and was found in the woods by Lailihara, a wisewoman living in the forest. She brought him up, showing him the ways of the wood, and protecting him from the perils within the great forest. When he grew to manhood, he helped in the wars against the Tadg for many years, and continued climbing the local priestly hierarcy, becoming the ranking priest of this area. When peace came, he left the priesthood to pursue his own solitary path.

Finovar is about 175 cm tall, and weighs about 70 kilos. He appears young, slim and attractive with black hair, blue eyes and a short, black beard. Finovar carries very little, having just some brown robes, a hornlike sword, and a fancy wooden staff, all well stained with travel. Also, he has many pouchs that carry many herbs, and spell components.

Finovar normally travels with a pair of Skereaghs, their normally savage nature tamed by magic. They are devoted servants and guards.
