Theybar Godswroth

History and Appearance

Theybar is a tall gaunt, man, with thin, ascetic features almost hidden under a mane of shaggy, graying-blonde hair. He has a great hooked nose that projects out over his long, unkempt beard, and piercing green eyes. Although he does not appear hulking, his thin arms and legs are corded with muscle, and as anyone who has felt his strength can testify, he is all whiplash and iron. Theybar's father was a mage, and his only son trained to replace him as an artificer - a creator of magical gadgets. All that ended, when Theybar's father was killed with half the warriors of his house in a border skirmish with Dymerian troops. Theybar had always enjoyed hunting and archery. In the aftermath of his father's death, he turned all his sorcerous skills towards perfecting that gift. He is a great hunter now, and leads a pack of others like himself, but his primary prey is men - especially southerners. To support himself, he has sometimes led squads of mercenary archers and his reputation means that he is never short of potential employers. However, his martial carreer has made him bitter and cynical - a difficult man to deal with and a harder one to know.

Theybar is normally accompanied by a Wood Golem of his own construction that serves as servant and bodyguard. It is carved in the likeness of a Centaur and brightly painted.
