Anaia

 

Anaia was the daughter of a trapper who lacking sons, brought her up in the wilderness. She was born an albino, which marked her as one touched by the Winter goddess, the Ice Maiden, an omen which was only heightened by the early death of her mother. Her peculiar looks did not affect her greatly while growing up, due to her solitary lifestyle. But one bitter winter, she and her father were caught in a blinding snowstorm. Although they eventually made shelter, the cold proved too much for her father, who perished of congestion. However, Anaia was not much minded to stay with other folk (who find her hard to get along with due to her appearance anyway), so she has become a wanderer.
