Generic Guard or Militia


This character sheet represents the basic flunky-level guard or part-time soldiers called out for militia duties, but who have at least some training. Such soldiers are generally poorly armed - a spear and a knife or a club depending on their station - and armoured. They might have stout leather jerkin or quilted armour (DEF 1-3, locations 9-13) and a light helmet (DEF 4, locations 4-5) if they are lucky. Their major function is to be cut down in droves by heroic fighters. They usually have a shield - either a small round affair (+1 DCV), or a larger round shield (+2 DCV).
