Encyclopedia of Witchcraft and Demonology - Horror, Commercial
Despite the lurid title, Rossell H. Robbins' "Encyclopedia of Witchcraft and Demonology" is an excellent reference that offers a historical view of witchcraft. The bulk of the entries deal with events in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Also includes an excellent bibliography of over 1,000 citations. The book is out of print, but it has been enormously popular (when compared with most scholarly works on witchcraft), has been reprinted many times, and is available from a number of used bookstores both online and off.

Unbreakable - Superheroes, Commercial
Quite possibly the best "realistic" superhero movie ever made. How would a normal man react to the discovery that he isn't normal at all? An excellent work that completely avoids the campiness one normally finds even in otherwise-serious superhero movies.

A compendium of catastrophies, barbarities, massacres, and mayhem. Great source material for pulp games, time-travel games, and conspiracy oriented games. Also good for fleshing out the background of modern characters who are really, really old.
